My hands are weathered down from harsh cleaning chemicals and soaps. And the dry fall weather doesn't help!🍂🍃🍁 Let's change than and make our hands hydrated and supple once more.🙌
Start by adding a quarter sized amount of coconut oil and a dime sized amount of vitamin E oil in to a small glass bowl. (Roughly measured)
Stick the oils in the microwave for about 10 seconds or until the coconut oil melts in to a liquid.
In a separate bowl add two spoonfuls of sugar.
Add a spoonful of honey to the sugar.
Mix all the ingredients together! I added a bit more honey. The mixture should look thick and smooth when untouched. When scooped up the mixture should have visible sugar clusters.
Go to the sink and run your hands under warm water to loosen the dead skin cells and open the pores. Take a good amount of the scrub and gently rub your hands together as if you were washing them.
Rinse your hands under warm water. DO NOT WASH THEM. We want the oils to hydrate the skin. Then pat your hands dry on a towel.
Immediately after drying, apply a really good hand moisturizer to seal in moisture. I found this at my local drugstore it's my HG 😄👍
As you can see this was a great pick me up for my hands! They feel super hydrated and baby smooth. Remember to regularly apply hand lotion to maintain nice healthy hands. 💕
