How to Finger Knit

by Lily Zack

Easier than regular knitting, and much faster. I was taught this by 2 seven year olds, so anyone can do it!

Supplies

  • Yarn
  • Your Hand
  • Instructions

    Step 1

Take the end of the yarn and put it in the crease between your thumb and pointer finger.

    Step 2

Weave the remainder of the string between the rest if your fingers.

    Step 3

Continue to weave the yarn through your fingers again, then again, until each finger has two loops.

    Step 4

    Step 5

Take the bottom loop and take it over your finger, leaving the top one.

    Step 6

    Repeat with the other fingers.

    Step 7

    Step 8

It will end up looking like this.

    Step 9

Weave another 2 rows above the remainders on the bottom, and repeat the process of looping it over your fingers.

    Step 10

Keep on weaving and looping until your desired length. A scarf will take no more than 1/2 and hour, and even shorter if you focus hard.

    Step 11

This is what your final product will turn out to be like!
