Patented Xcluder Fabric stops gnawing and burrowing pests from entering your house or business. Tested and proved effective by the USDA, Xcluder provides a permanent solution that's easy to install.
A few things to keep in mind before you begin. First, don't use Xcluder on surfaces that may exceed 270 degrees Fahrenheit or in or around electrical enclosures or receptacles.
And second, be sure to wear the safety gloves provided in your Xcluder kit. Xcluder is made from coarse stainless steel wool, which has sharp edges. Okay, let's begin!
FIND IT: Locate the gaps and spaces where rodents can enter (weep-holes, cracks, space around pipes, etc). Remember, mice can squeeze through spaces as small as 1/4 inch wide!
MEASURE IT: Measure (or eyeball) the width and depth of the space that needs to be filled.
CUT IT: Using the scissors from your Xcluder kit, cut a piece of Xcluder fabric that is slightly larger than the opening you want to fill. 1.5x - 2x the width of the opening should do the trick.
FILL IT: Firmly push the Xcluder fabric into the opening. Be sure to fill the entire opening, leaving no gaps or spaces.
PACK IT: Using the blunt side of the screwdriver (or your scissors) push the material into the opening flush to, or slightly below, the surface of the opening.
That's it! Xcluder fabric is patented and proven by the USDA as an effective, environmentally friendly barrier against rodents. Correctly installed, you are permanently protected against pests.
