First, you'll need to get some rubber gloves before you start bleaching your jeans.
You'll take your bucket and dilute the bleach with water. It's usually one part bleach to two or three parts water.
Bleach until you get the lightness on the pants that you want. (The bleach will stretch them out just a bit, not too much so don't freak) these used to be much darker than this.
Then choose whatever dye you have available to you and in the color you want.
Here's what one cup of salt looks like.
And this is a bucket
Pour the salt in...
Mix the super, super hot water with it and mix till it dissolves.
Pour in the dye. You only need about 1/3 of the bottle, but I went crazy and just used it all.
Put yo jeans in
Mix em in there...it's hot so you'll need something to stir with.
And they're already pretty red.
And here's after 60 minutes of stirring them. Just read the directions to whatever kind of dye you used, it should say on there how long and if you need salt.
And there we go. You'll wash them by themselves for the first couple times because they bleed color like no other.
