Just a heads up, this is a photo of the supplies required for this task. ( Although the brand is completely optional!)
To begin, start by drawing a similar shape to the parallelogram above. Remember that this will be your base, and keep in mind that while you are drawing you keep it easy to erase!
Now, you will be drawing the 'main body' of the eye. In order to begin, draw a line slightly arching upward, next draw a reflection of the first line starting at the right edge and connect it.
Now, draw the pupil of the eye. Make sure that when drawing the pupil, it has to be the shape of an oval and the suitable size for the eye. You can choose the size you think is good enough!
Now you will be drawing the eyelashes. The eyelashes are really easy to draw on your eye. Here is a tip! Make the eyelashes look hooked on and look like actual eyelashes.
Now, draw the minor details in the pupil (as shown above). Also feel free to erase the parallelogram marks if you haven't already!
In this step, you will be adding 2 lines above the eye, this is to show that your character has eye lids. Don't forget to colour the pupil in the middle!
Now, at the top right you should have drawn a small circle slightly leaning onto the pupil. In this step, where it was leaning you have to erase that line making it look more presentable.
To begin this step, you will lightly shade your eye fading colour as you are going downwards. Smudge it with your finger giving it a nice effect. (You can do this in colour, it's optional)
You have almost finished your eye, but don't stop now! Start by drawing an eyebrow over the lines with a small space in between them, when your happy with the shape of the eyebrow, sign your drawing!
When your happy with the shape of the eyebrow, colour it in the way you prefer! You successfully drew an eye, congratulations! Remember if you didn't get it your first try, practice makes perfect!
