Apply base coat.
Do one or two coats of white polish.
Crap ass video. But put the pink polish on the makeup sponge and stamp it on half of your nail near your cuticle.
You can do the green part three ways. This is one; put a little green polish on the makeup sponge and line your nail with it. .....and ignore my face in this video. Please.
This is what you get when you use the makeup sponge.
Or you can get a toothpick (or dotting tool or small brush or whatever) and dab it on your nail.
This is what it look like. Pinkie and ring finger done with sponge. Pointer and middle done with a toothpick.
You can also just use the polish brush and lightly brush the green on the tip of your nails.
I'm doing the outside of the watermelon on my thumb. So I put a bunch of green polish on the makeup sponge and put it all over my thumb nail.
I used a nail art brush, you can use a toothpick (dotting tool, whatever) and make lines. You can make them straight.
You use a toothpick (dotting tool, whatever to make black dots, the seeds. You can do as many or as few as you want. Random or organized.... Black dots.
Someone just gave me these, and I'm trying them for the first time, on my ring finger. You can get these at Claire's, or micro beads at any craft store. .
If you use these put a drop of clear (or I used pink...) and use a toothpick to pick up the beads.
I got a little annoyed with my toothpick, and just starting using my nail.
Use a q-tip or small brush and use remover and clean up around your nails.
Add topcoat. If you used micro beads, be really careful not to nudge them out of place, but use a lot of topcoat. It's what will keep the beads on your nail.
Hope your nails turn out great! Tell me what kind of guides you'd like and I'll be happy to do them.
