  • Brush
  • 1 Small hair tie
  • Bobby pins
  • Hairspray
  • Curling wand (optional)
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    What you'll need ^^

    Step 2

Brush back hair. Note: you will need medium to long hair for this hairstyle to work out.

    Step 3

Take an inch or so of hair right above each ear, and fasten them together loosely with the hair tie.

    Step 4

    About this much ^^

    Step 5

Take a piece of hair directly to the left of the hair tie.

    Step 6

    Step 7

Loosen it up, and secure the hair with bobby pins.

    Step 8

Now, take another piece of hair, but this time, from the 'right' of the hair tie. Note: Do NOT include any hair from the previous piece in this new piece!

    Step 9

This time, you will bring it THROUGH the other piece

    Step 10

and then tuck it in on the left of the hair tie.

    Step 11

Loosen it up just like before, but this time, you'll want it a little higher than the previous piece. Secure with bobby pins.

    Step 12

Now take yet another piece of hair from the very left, being careful not to include any hair from the previous pieces.

    Step 13

Bring it up through the left of the piece you just did,

    Step 14

over the first piece, and down through the right of the piece you just did.

    Step 15

Finished look...I pulled the pieces a little tight, but you can do it looser if you would like! Personally, I like it better loose!

    Step 16

    Step 17

Optional: you can curl the hair if you'd like!
