Gather your foliage and a adhesive to apply to canvas.
For my adhesive I used 3D Matt Medium.
Add a nice coat of clear gesso to prime your surface for your paints, sprays and inks.
I sprayed sections with my Coloration Sprays. Heat set and sprayed again for more intensity. Do not worry the sprays are translucent so you can still see the pretty leaves beneath.
To create definition for the leaves I used a charcoal pencil and outlined and smudged with my finger. This provides a nice shadow as well.
Here is the charcoal pencil I used.
For the title, I printed and applied the paper with Matt Gel, then spritzed my sprays for color as well as took my black paints and edged the wood pieces. Glue wood and jute to your canvas.
Using 3D Matt Gel and different size art stones I wanted to lighten up the piece a bit so I add for texture as well as watered down white gesso I splattered on the top.
Hope this has inspired you with the wonders of Mother Nature in your art.
