by Denise @el&em

Create these beautiful eggs using stamp images and tissue paper

Supplies

  • Eggs (hard boiled, blown or faux)
  • Tissue paper
  • Stamps
  • StayzOn Ink
  • Modge Podge
  • Paint Brush
  • Instructions

    Step 1

Gather your favorite stamps. I'm using Graphic 45's Botanical Tea stamp images.

    Step 2

    Stamp image on tissue paper.

    Step 3

Repeat image over and over, here and there.

    Step 4

    Stamp a variety of images.

    Step 5

Stamp border images in a row.

    Step 6

Cut the border out to use as a band.

    Step 7

Tear stamped tissue into small workable pieces.

    Step 8

Apply a layer of Modge Podge to one side of egg, lay tissue on Modge podged area. Use brush to gently tap down and smooth tissue.

    Step 9

Add pieces to cover one side of the egg.

    Step 10

    Set egg aside to dry.

    Step 11

    I did a few at a time.

    Step 12

The waiting to dry is the hardest part...but important! Let eggs dry completely before attempting to cover the other side.

    Step 13

Once dry, apply the same process to finish and cover the other side of eggs.

    Step 14

I made a variety of styles; collaged images, collaged script, banded and a mix of all images.

    Step 15

    Step 16

    Step 17

So pretty I don't want to eat them!

    Step 18

    Use them for Spring decor...

    Step 19

    Tuck into nests...

    Step 20

    Use in Easter tablescaping arrangements...

    Step 21

Place in egg cups and label for personalized place settings...
