Creating a custom made inkpad with minx gives you the opportunity to make a whole bunch of stamped images. And using that same inkpad to make backgrounds for even more fun!

Cut a piece of Stamp Pad Felt in a size just smaller than your card. (You can see that I've been using this one before)  Stamp an image on it with non-water-soluble ink.

Add ink to the pad, choosing the colors to fit your image.

Ink your stamp up with the pad and stamp onto cardstock.

Spread the ink with a brush to give it a water colored effect. Leave to dry.

Stamp script in the background with the same stamp pad. Overstamp the image with black ink to add the lines again. Stamp some postage stamps to make a collage as shown.

Use distress ink to sponge over the beehive stencil, and the Tick Tock stencil to add interest.

As you can see.. you can create a whole bunch of cards with just a few drops of Minx inks. I finished only a few..

Stamp your image until it does not have enough ink anymore to make crisp stamped images. Use the stamp pad to stamp onto cardstock. the stamping has the structure of the felt.

Make yourself a whole bunch of backgrounds until the felt hasn't got enough ink to make beautiful backgrounds anymore. (Rinse the pad with soap and water for future use.)
