How to Create a Thank You Tag Card by Joanne Bain

This tutorial will show how I created my Pull Out Tag Card using Graphic 45 Natures Sketchbook Collection.

Supplies

  • Graphic 45 Nature Sketchbook 12x12 Paper Pad
  • Kraft Cardstock
  • Graphic 45 Thanks Tag
  • Cotton Thread
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Locate and fussy cut the following from Natures Sketchbook patterned paper. I have created a the tag base myself from kraft cardstock.

    Step 2

    After cutting patterned paper tag slightly smaller then the base tag, distress edges and stick down.

    Step 3

    Distress edges and layer journaling tag as shown.

    Step 4

    Layer on the mushrooms as shown.

    Step 5

    Layer the fussy cut flower as shown.

    Step 6

    Layer larger feather as shown.

    Step 7

    Layer other feather as shown.

    Step 8

    Layer fern leaf as shown.

    Step 9

    Add some cotton thread for added texture.

    Step 10

    Layer another fern piece as shown.

    Step 11

    Add other fussy cut flowers as shown.

    Step 12

    Add the gorgeous butterflies.

    Step 13

    Locate Bee yourself paper strip. Cut another tag exactly the same size as the base tag. You will also need a THANKS staples tag.

    Step 14

    Trim off top of THANKS tag as shown.

    Step 15

    Cut paper strip to length as shown.

    Step 16

    Fold in half and glue end together as shown.

    Step 17

    Attach to Thanks tag as shown then cover the back of tag with patterned paper of choice.

    Step 18

    Glue 3 sides only of backing tag and stick together. You need to ensure THANKS tag can slide inside.

    Step 19

    Slide THANKS tag inside as shown.

    Step 20

    Your THANKS tag card is now finished.

    Step 21

    I have added a chain for something a little extra.

    Step 22
