How to Create a Sweet and Healthy Berry Smoothie

A naturally sweet smoothie full of essential vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and protein are a great morning wake-me-up. No added/artificial sweeteners, colors, nor flavors in this baby!

Supplies

  • 1 blender or food processor
  • 1 soft banana
  • 1 Cup mixed fresh or frozen berries
  • 3 Tablespoons protein powder
  • ½ Cups raspberry kefir
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Start with a peeled, soft banana, a protein powder, and a handful or two of fresh or frozen mixed berries. Kefir is used for its creamy consistency, as well as for its gut-loving bacteria!

    Step 2

    First, pour kefir into the blender so as not to blend the solids with a dry blade. Blend. Scrape the cup with a spatula to reintroduce rogue protein powder. Blend until completely mixed.

    Step 3

    Voila! Pour your happy, healthy smoothie mix into a fancy glass or mason jar and enjoy while still ice cold.
