Begin by adding to coats of gesso to the front and back of the album cover. Heat set to dry
Add your embellishments using Gel Medium
Add textured by adding some art stones, i also have a bit of chipboard under neath all of that . I used wood and metal gears
Give everything a coat of gesso and let dry, or you can speed things up and heat set with your heat tool
Take the dropper out of the Stargazer Minx and use a small paintbrush to place the color under the embellishments. We want to keep the top white. I also added in some granny smith in some areas
You can add water to tone the color down, and dab off excess with a baby wipe. Add more color where you like. If color is too strong, you can dilute with water. Heat set this to dry
I used Decadent MInx to add some shadows underneath the embellishments and used a small brush to add the Rust Amber. I dabbed the Rust amber inside the gears and under the stones
Add the chipboard title. I inked the edges with Peacock feathers distress ink and added more Rust Amber and Stargazer Minx to add color under some of the embellishments.
i did go over some areas with gesso as some color managed to get on areas where i didn't want it. Don't be afraid to play with your mists and paints, you will have fun learning as you go along.
