Cut layer 1 at 5 3/8 x 51/8 inches from spot paper. Cut layer 3 at 4 3/8 x 4 inches from plain black.  Cut layer 5 at 3 3/4 x 3 3/8 from plain blue. Ink all edges with black soot distress ink.

The next few steps are the assembly of the embellishment units that will be adhered to the card. They incorporate the cogs, chipboard, fussy cut images and banner components.
