Cut the following from black chipboard: 1 each 4 3/8" x 6 1/4"; 2 each 4 3/8" x 2" and 1 each 6 1/14" x 2".  You will also use the piece that you cut away from book box.

Apply glue into the spaces between the chipboard sides. Pull the sides up and attach the flaps on the back of the drawer onto the back chipboard side of the drawer.

Next you will need to wrap the piece you cut off of the book box as this will be the front of your drawer.  Cut cardstock so you have about 3/4" around all 4 sides of the chipboard front piece.

Measure the corners on the inside of the drawer and cut 1" wide x height of drawer (on the inside) cardstock structure hinges. Score in half as shown and add scor-tape.  Attach these into the corners.

If you have a drill, measure the 6" piece of #8 threaded road to determine what size drill bit to use.  If you do not have a drill you can try to use a hole punch or  tool to poke a hole in the lid.
