This Card uses the items in the picture above, plus a few coordinating pattered papers (I used double-sided).
Size for the base of the card: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” (folded in half). If you want to have a patterned paper on top of your base, cut it to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.
I first use my Designer Templates to help create the look I want by laying them out on the base of the card. I love how they allow me to see what it will look like before I have to cut anything!
Once you have your design ready, the next step is to trace & cut the different elements out of your paper. I used the Ring DT as a circle and cut the bottom off so it wouldn't show at the bottom.
After cutting the piece out, try inking the edges with your dauber to give it a clean look and a great POP to the layers.
After tracing, cutting, & Inking the edges, place each element back on your project in place of the Designer Template so that you do not forget your design as you go along.
When tracing a border, make sure to place it at the edge of your paper so that it minimizes the amount of cutting that you need to do.
Continue to replace as you go along.
Within a short time, and for very little money, you will have a super cute card ready to give away!
