How to Cook Winter Bamboo

  • Winter bamboo
  • Light soy sauce
  • Dark soy sauce
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Winter Bamboo with shell on

    Step 2

    Peel off the shell

    Step 3

    Then shave off the hair like fibers from the bamboo very lightly

    Step 4

    Cut off the ends and discard. You can then cut another part from the end and use that piece to cook in a soup

    Slice the Bamboo

    Step 8

    Bring to a boil and cook for 15min

    Step 9

    Rinse and let cool

    Stir fry and add soy sauces

    Step 14

    Add sugar and a little water. Mix and reduce the liquid. Let cool and eat.
