    Step 1

    Gather up all your ingredients

    Step 2

I chose to use this over the soy sauce, less salty!

    Step 3

Squeeze your honey tangerines, remove any seeds if they escape

    Step 4

    Aren't they just pretty?!

    Step 5

Add Sriracha to a small mise en place bowl

    Step 6

Add pomegranate molasses and ground ginger to Sriracha

    Step 7

    Mince your garlic

    Step 8

    Chop your cilantro

    Step 9

Mise en place...everything ready to go!

    Step 10

Honey tangerines are only grown in Florida. They taste like Tang! Would be beautiful in a reduction or in a vinaigrette!

    Step 11

Add cilantro to your marinade container

    Step 12

    Add aminos

    Step 13

    Add garlic

    Add brown sugar

    Step 16

    Add spice mixture

    Step 17

    Whisk to incorporate

    Step 18

    Step 19

Score the brisket, important to help the marinade soak in and break up the fibrous muscle strands

    Step 20

Place brisket into marinade container. Let marinade for an hour, flipping half way through process.

    Step 21

    Step 22

Heat up a grill pan over med-high heat. Sear the brisket on both sides

    Step 23

That is just a beautiful piece of meat!

    Step 24

    Almost ready to flip

    Step 25

Flipped and ready to hit the crock pot, just a few minutes on each side will do ya!

    Step 26

Set it on low and slow

    Step 27

    Add marinade to crockpot

    Step 28

    Ready and waiting

    Step 29

Add the seared brisket, cook until fork tender

    Step 30

Ok, here's the chicken wing version. Same marinade and process.

    Step 31

Set oven to 375 degrees, bake for 30 minutes, covered.

    Step 32

This is after 30 minutes covered. Uncover and bake another 30 minutes.

    Step 33

This is after 1 hour total bake time at 375 degrees. Yummy!!!

    Step 34

Serve with some coconut milk jasmine rice. In a rice cooker put 2 cups Jasmine rice, 1 can of coconut milk and one can of water. Close and press the button! Creamy with a coconut aroma, yummy!
