How to Cook Spicy Candied Bacon

This recipe is a great way to spice up your morning breakfast. It is perfect for Burgers, Sandwiches, and Salads. Hope you enjoy !


  • ½ Pounds 50 % Low Sodium Bacon
  • ⅓ Cups Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon Cajun Spice Blend
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Gather Ingredients

    Step 2

    Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

    Step 3

    Cut Bacon in half with scissors

    Step 4

    Place Bacon on a Baking Sheet lined with Parchment Paper

    Step 5

    1/3 Cup Brown Sugar

    Step 6

    1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika

    Step 7

    1 Tbsp Cajun Spice Blend

    Step 8

    1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper

    Step 9

    In a Bowl Combine Brown Sugar, Smoked Paprika, Cajun Spice Blend, and Ground Black Pepper

    Step 10

    Mix the Brown Sugar, Smoked Paprika, Cajun Spice Blend, and Ground Black Pepper. This mix is for more than one use but it all depends on how much spice you like. I usually get two batches out of this.

    Step 11

    Sprinkle Spice Blend over Bacon and rub it in.

    Step 12

    Flip Bacon and repeat the process from my last step.

    Step 13

    Set Your Timer for 25 Minutes

    Step 14

    Place Baking Sheet on the middle Rack and Cook for 25 minutes flipping half way through.

    Step 15

    Flip half way through cooking and continue cooking until timer goes off. If the Bacon isn't cooked to your liking you can always put it back in.

    Step 16

    Place Bacon on Paper Towel
