How to Cook Short Rib Empanadas

This is perfect for a grill or picnic, perfect whit a mojito


  • 6 Short ribs rack
  • 1 Celery
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Pz of ginger
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 Bunch Celery
  • 1 Cup Olive oil
  • 1 Bunch Provençal spices
  • Salt & pepper
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Make cuts all over the ribs like in the picture and put plenty of salt & pepper

    Step 2

    Deap fry them in hot oil for couple second this is to sear them up and finish it in the oven

    Step 3

    This is how they look after we sear them

    Step 4

    Blend the onions, celery, carrots, and ginger, this is going to be our marinate for the ribs. Spread it all over the seared ribs

    Take a break and drink a glass of wine, just one ok!!! 😋

    Step 6

    To cook them in the oven it's important to put plastick wrap first and foil like in the photo. Now we are going to cook them for 8 hours at 220 degrees

    8 hours later, they are ready, they look like burn, but it's just a little bit dry

    Take out all the meat from the ribs and chop it up

    Step 9

    Spread egg all over your empanadas dough

    Step 10

    Put the meat and fold it

    Step 11

    Seal it making the marks whit a fork

    Step 12

    Make a tomatoe, red, green, and yellow bell pepper pico de gallo

    Step 13

    Fry the empanadas, put a bed of pico and place the empanadas on top, spread chimichurry on top and bon apetit
