Gather all ingredients. Cut the fish to small portions. First melt butter - you can use ordinary butter but I am using some herb butter. All through the cooking process - the flame is small to medium
Gently fry minced garlic. Make sure its not caramalized. It will be fragrant.
It will take 1-2 minutes at most
Now sautee the diced potato
Once the potato is cooked - add the cream
Dont allow this to boil. Quickly add the protein
I add the baby scallops and prawns whole and small cubed fish. This ensures even cooking time.
Mix it through. You can season and serve this as it is. However I am going to add some vegetable. Peas, Capsicum, Carrot and Corn Kernels goes well with this dish.
I add frozen peas and herbs. English parsley, thyme and even dill goes well with this white sauce.
Cook for 5-6minutes till seafood is cooked.You may thicken the sauce with some mash potato or thin it with some milk or cream according to your taste.
This can be served with rice or pasta. You can even follow this idea and swap the seafood with chicken. If you make the sauce rather thick- you can even use this as a pie filling. Bon Appetit.
