How to Cook Salt and Pepper Calamari W Greek Salad

This is a tutorial on how to cook and make a simple salt and pepper calamari, with a side of Greek salad

Supplies

  • Ingredients
  • Calamari
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Olive oil
  • Fetta cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chilli flakes
  • Cucumber
  • Onion
  • Two slices of lemon
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Fresh Calamari

    Step 2

    Freshly gut and fillet squid, leave body, and flips

    Step 3

    Make the batter, the ingredients are Plain White flour, chilli flakes, Cracked Salt and Pepper this will create a golden crisp and colour around the calamari

    Step 4

    Then create your Traditional Greek Salad this consistence of Iceberg lettuce, Tomatoes, cucumber, onion, Salt and pepper, olive Oil, onion and feta cheese.

    Then mix the calamari in your batter which will spice the calamari this will create more flavour

    Then shallow fry your calamari in a small pot

    Step 8

    Take the calamari off the pot, when golden

    Step 9

    Then take the calamari off the grill and put on a bowl filled with paper towels this will soak all the unwanted oils.

    Step 10

    Finally serve Calamari with 2 slices of lemon which gives the calamari of zesty flavour with the Greek salad, this is a very easy meal that you can make for your family or for a individual snack.
