Prepare all the ingredients
Marinade the cubed pork in pickle relish, salt and pepper. Season the chopped liver with salt and pepper
Heat olive oil in a big pot and add the onions first.
When the onions are a bit translucent, ad the garlic.
Add the tomatoes when the garlic breaks into an aroma but don't wait till the minced garlic are toasted
Stir occasionally until tomatoes are a bit soft
Add the marinated pork
Add the liver next
Add tomato sauce. Let simmer on slow fire for 20 minutes
Add the raisins
Add the carrots and potatoes and simmer on very slow fire for 20 more minutes
Chopped bell pepper may be added for a more aromatic dish. Chopped hotdogs may also be added for a more Filipino touch ;-)
