How to Cook Irish Stew

  • One pound of ground beef
  • Three potatoes
  • 1 pound of baby carrots
  • 2/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 cups of white rice
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    First we season & brown the ground beef and baby carrots in a shallow pan with Worcestershire sauce. Use the rest of these seasonings in the stew-(2nd step)

    Step 2

    Begin stew by adding 3 potatoes diced to 1/2 inch sizes, in 1/2 cup veg or olive oil for 10 minutes. Then add beef & carrots to this, as well as two cups of water and a few more dashes of seasonings!

    Step 3

    Two cups of rice to bed the stew

    Step 4

    Let stew simmer on medium heat for 20-30 minutes with the lid on and while the rice cooks. Perfect time to set the table!

    Step 5

    Top the rice with the stew and whatever kind of cheese or what have you.
