How to Cook Gheliye Meygo- the Most Delicious Shrimp Stew

  • 500 Grams Shrimp
  • 50 Grams Fenugreek
  • 200 Grams Coriander
  • 1 Onion
  • Pepper-salt-
  • 1 Teaspoon Grated garlic
  • 200 Grams Tamarind
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Wash the herbs.

    Step 2

    Soak the tamarind in a little amont of hot water. Use your fingers and massage! Then remove the seeds.

    Step 3

    This is what it look likes!

    Step 4

    Finely chop the herbs.

    Step 5

    Fry the chopped onion until it turns yellow.

    Step 6

    Add the garlic, salt, pepper and turmeric powder.

    Step 7

    Add the chopped herbs to the onions and wait for about 8 minutes till the herbs are fragrant.

    Step 8

    Add the shrimps and fry alittle.

    Step 9

    Add the tamarind and some water. put the lead and wait for 30 minutes!
