Granny Smith apples are the best for apple pies
Peel, core and sliced.
I made pie crust before, it's not worth it. Just buy the crust for $3.
Combine your sugar, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg on low heat until melted.
Sprinkle your corn starch and toss it with your apples.
Pour sugar mixture over the apples and mix well.
Place your pie crust on your pan and trim the edges
Bake the bottom crust for 10 minutes at 400 degrees so your crust doesn't get soggy.
Take it out of the oven and add your apples to the baking dish.
Place your crust over the apples and pinch holes on top.
Bake for another 30 mins at 400 degrees
Enjoy your pie with some vanilla ice cream.
