How to Cook Danish White Parsley Sauce

Great with slices of salted pork belly!


  • 1 A bundle parsley
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Whole wheat flour
  • 25 Grams Butter
  • ½ Liters Milk
  • Salt & pepper
  • ½ Teaspoons Nutmeg
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Wash the parsley💦

    Step 2

    Chop finely🔪

    Step 3

    Take a small sauce pot

    Step 4

    Add butter

    Step 5

    Wait until the butter is melted, and take a whisk

    Step 6

    Take the flour

    Step 7

    Add it to the sauce pan

    Step 8

    Whip to it is a lump...

    Step 9

    ..and then add half of the milk

    Step 10

    Whip again until all the lumps is gone

    Step 11

    Whip hard and add milk so it has the right consistence

    Step 12

    Add salt and pepper

    Step 13

    Turn the heat almost off

    Step 14

    Add parsley

    Step 15

    And nutmeg

    Step 16

    Mix it!

    Serve with slices of salted pork belly😋
