How to Cook Crockpot Mongolian Beef

Supplies

  • 1 ½ Pounds Flank steak
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 4 Sliced green onions
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried onion
  • ½ Cups Soy sauce
  • ¼ Cups White wine
  • ¼ Cups Cooking sherry
  • ½ Tablespoons White wine vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 Teaspoon Molasses
  • 1 Teaspoon Ginger
  • ¼ Teaspoons Black pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • ½ Tablespoons Peanut butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown sugar
  • ¼ Cups Cornstarch

    Slice meat thin and put in baggie with cornstarch.

    Put all liquids and dry spices into crockpot, then add peanut butter, and mix well. Add garlic and 3 green onions. Put meat in top and toss gingerly.

    Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, mine was done around 4. Next time I will leave out the red chili flakes, they made it WAY too spicy for me. Serve with/on white rice. Enjoy :)
