How to Cook Crispy Green Beans With Garlic, Lemon & Chili

Crispy Green beans, lemon, garlic and chilli- 👅💦

Supplies

  • 150 Grams Green beans
  • 1 Cup Spring onions
  • 2 Teaspoons Minced garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry chilli flakes
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon zest
  • Olive oil, salt and pepper to taste
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Start by blanching the beans in salted boiling water for 2 mins. Then drain under cold water to shock them from over cooking.

    Step 2

    Shocking the cooking process keeps the beans tasty and looking vibrant and greeeen!

    Step 3

    Whilst the beans are cooling get the other bits organized 👍

    Step 4

    Fry the Onions, Garlic and Chili flakes over a medium heat for a minute until soft

    Step 5

    Add the green beans and fry for 5 mins- tossing often!!

    Step 6

    When the onions look good and crispy add the lemon zest, salt and pepper to the pan- give it a good mix and serve ✔
