How to Cook Churrasco Kebabs

Supplies

  • 1 pound of skirt steak
  • Adobo seasoning 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro 1/4 cup
  • Parsley 1/4 cup
  • Olive oil 1/2 cup
  • Sea salt 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper flakes 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  • Kabob sticks 5
  • Basting brush
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Cut steak in to small strips or cubes depending on personal preference. Remove fat.

    Step 2

    Tenderize thoroughly

    Step 3

    Season meat with salt, pepper, and adobo seasoning

    Step 4

    Cut cilantro, parsley, and garlic

    Step 5

    Gradually add olive oil to cilantro and parsley (Add pepper flakes if you want) This is your Chimichuri sauce.

    Step 6

    Add lemon juice to cilantro and parsley

    Step 7

    Whisk mixture thoroughly (Sauce is finished now)

    Step 8

    Put stick through your meat strips

    Step 9

    Kabob should have 4-5 strips of meat

    Step 10

    1 pound of meat for us made 5 kabobs

    Step 11

    Turn on grill to medium heat

    Step 12

    Baste meat with olive oil BEFORE GRILLING

    Step 13

    Clean grill with onion

    Step 14

    Add kabobs to grill

    Step 15

    Flip kabobs periodically until cooked thoroughly. Each side will take about 5-6 minutes

    Step 16

    While grilling baste with Chimichuri sauce on each side LIGHTLY

    Step 17

    When kabobs look a dark brownish color, take them off the grill

    Step 18

    Plate the kabobs. This is our final product
