Let's make some chicken stock.

Separate the edible tissues by hand.  Place the good meats in the refrigerator for later and discard the bones.  Feel free to add to both soups and stocks.

Finely strain the stock to remove peppercorns and small bones.  Most of the stock will be the base for the soup.  The remaining stock should be stored in the refrigerator (lasts about seven days).

Add your filtered stock back into your large pot and bring to a boil.
