How to Cook Basmati Pulao

Supplies

  • 2 Onions
  • 2 ½ Cups Basmati Rice
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Cup Beans
  • 4 Cardamom
  • 2 Teaspoons Ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Cinnamon
  • 4 Cloves
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Oil
  • Salt for taste
  • 6 Green chillies
  • 1 Capsicum
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Take 2.5 cups of Basmati Rice

    Step 2

    Half boil the rice with 1 tsp of ghee and pinch of salt..

    Step 3

    Half boil looks like this..

    Step 4

    Chopped beans, carrot, capsicum, green chillies

    Step 5

    Cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, biryani leaf

    Step 6

    Heat the vessel with oil

    Step 7

    Now add the mixture of cardamom, cloves, biryani leaf

    Step 8

    Take 1.5 tsp of ginger and garlic paste and add to the mixture

    Step 9

    Now add the chopped vegetables to the mixture and pinch of salt for taste and cook for 5 min.

    Chopped onions for deep fry

    Step 11

    Heat the oil for deep fry of onions

    Step 12

    Deep fry the onions..

    After deep fry of onions...

    Step 15

    Now add a layer of basmati rice to the cocked vegetable mixture

    Step 16

    Then add fried onions as a topping on that layer...

    Step 17

    Then again add another layer of basmati rice...

    Step 18

    Now again add the fried onions as toppings on it... Then cook for 10-15 min in medium flame...

    Step 19

    Prepare Raitha which is nothing but 1 cup of yogurt with chopped green chillies, tomato, onions and capsicum added to it... Pinch of salt for taste...

    Step 20

    Raitha dish for Basmati Pulao!!

    That's it Basmati Pulao is ready to eat!! Really I like the smell of Basmati Rice!!! I'm lovi'n it!!! :))
