How to Cook an Indian Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Paneer is a Indian favorite. Milk is curdled with some acid like lemon juice and set like a block and packed to sell. This cheese doesn't melt but only gets soft when cooked. Enjoy the recipe :)

Supplies

  • Paneer 150- 200 gms
  • Bread of your choice I used regular white bread
  • Chopped bell pepper
  • chopped Tomato
  • Chopped Onions
  • Pickled jalapeño
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Indian cheese Paneer comes in a pack like this

    Cut Paneer into quater inch chunks brush them with oil and grill them on a pan 1 1/2 - 2 mins on each side. Put a little salt and pepper

    They will look like this.

    Put these on bread slices and add onion bell pepper,tomatoes , jalapeño's, salt & pepper brush the top of the bread with some butter

    Throw them on the panini grill for about 2-3 mins

    Step 6

    Cut it in an angle and serve it with some chips fries or a soup :)

    No panini grill? No problem!!! Brush butter on a pan place the sandwich on it. Put a heavy plate or another pan on the sandwich. Once done on one side butter the other side and flip :) Enjoy!!!
