This is a busy person's guide to the awesome Polish Style Veg Soup. My mother used to make it at home the hard way, but since I'm on my own, I found a fast and easy way to make it.
That is all we need.
Take 4 Chicken Stock Cubes.
Put them into a big pot and top them with 1.5 liter of filtered water. Put the gas on max and leave to boil.
In the meantime peel the potatoes and cut them into rather huge cubes. Next Cut the chicken as well. That was the hardest part of this guide ;].
Stir the boiling water and put the chicken in. Leave it until the water boils again.
Then put the potatoes in and wait till the water starts boiling again.
My mother would kill me for using frozen veg instead of fresh ones, but I'm hungry and I want my food fast and easy. My mixes got carrots, sweetcorn, peas, califlower and broccoli.
Put the frozen veg in and wait for the soup to boil. It might take a good while this time.
Open 2 tins of garden peas. Make sure you have GARDEN ones. If you'll use any others you'll get a messy pea soup.
Put all the contents of the tins into your soup (including the water) and... Wait until it start to boil ;].
Chop the dill finely.
Put it into a soup.
Lower the gas to minimum, cover the pot and leave it for around 5-10 minutes.
Put your soup into a bowl and top it with around 2 tablespoons of creme fraiche. Mix it in.
Slice the bread.
Enjoy your meal.
