-
Gather your ingredients and turn your grill on high heat.
- 2
-
Wash the potatoes and chop them into cubes.
- 3
-
When you are finished, wash the potatoes once more since they have a habit of being dirty. :(
- 4
-
In a separate container, add 1 tbsp of olive oil. I usually make sure it has a lid so everything can be mixed together.
- 5
-
Add 4 tbsp of French onion soup to the oil. You can also add chicken, veggie, or beef stock. This really helps make the potatoes tender and delicious.
- 6
-
Add 1 tsp of garlic salt to the mixture.
- 7
-
Add 1 tbsp of minced onion flakes to the mixture.
- 8
-
Add 1 tbsp of rosemary to the mixture.
- 9
-
Add 1 tsp of minced garlic. (I know, it does have a lot of garlic, but it tastes great)
- 10
-
Mix everything together
- 11
-
Add the freshly washed potatoes to the mixture.
- 12
-
The potatoes added into the mixture.
- 13
-
Slice half an onion and add it to the mixture.
- 14
-
Put the lid on the tip and shake everything together.
- 15
-
I usually flip the container upside down to make sure it mixes evenly. If you do this, make sure the lid is sturdy.
- 16
-
Now, grab a large sheet of tin foil. You want to make sure the potatoes will all for. Spray the foil with Nonstick spray. You can also use oil if you like.
- 17
-
Take the potato mixture and evenly distribute on the tin foil.
- 18
-
I sprinkled additional rosemary on top because I love the taste of rosemary. :)
- 19
-
Fold the tin foil over so it makes a nice little container for the potatoes.
- 20
-
Make sure it's completely folded over and has no visible openings.
- 21
-
Make sure the grill is cleaned off and add the potatoes to the grill to cook. Turn the heat down to medium.
- 22
-
- 23
-
After 10 minutes, stir the potatoes and be careful not to burn yourself . After you are finished, cover it up and continue doing this every 10 minutes for 30 more mins or until the potatoes are soft.
- 24
-
When they are finished, take them off the grill and let them sit for 5 minutes.
- 25
-
Serve with your favorite entree and enjoy!
