Variation of the Classic Grilled Cheese.
Im using a fresh loaf of Italian bread. Use whatever type you enjoy most! Cut 1 or 1" 1/2 slices so the bread will be soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside.
A light coating of butter or olive oil.
Sprinkle on paprika and just a hint of sea salt to make the flavors pop.
Lightly sear the buttered side till its golden and crunchy.
And the cheese of your choice, anything goes with comfort food even cheese slices!
Put in oven and remove when cheese is melting and theirs a light browning on the rim of the bread.
Before you put the sides together you can add anything to the middle you like. Else mush the sides together and enjoy the soft pocket of melted cheese inside!
