Pull out the bottom rack and check bottom for debris. Check spinners for blockages. Remove bottom filters if necessary and clean pieces.

Next parts: highly recommended you wear gloves since working with abrasives and acids. I hate wearing them unless I have to and I don't mind messing my hands up a little bit.

Still didn't remove stain. But did take off rust from coil around the bottom.

Tried a bleach-water-baking soda paste. Stains are definitely lighter, but still there. Make sure to rinse this off as well when you are finished.

Overall, the dishwasher is cleaner and this is good for regular cleaning. To get the stains out, definitely going to need to do a little extra work and maybe resort to commercial cleaners.
