How to Brine Chicken

Brining a chicken makes it juicey and flavorful no matter how you cook it!


  • 5 Tablespoons Coarse sea salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Tuscan herbs/ oregano basil
  • 1 Tablespoon Crushed red pepper
  • 3 Cups Water

    Gather all ingredients in a pot. Turn heat to high.

    Step 7

    Being to a boil and let boil for about 5 to 7 minutes. What you are doing is extracting the flavor from the spice into the water.

    Step 8

    Cool the brine, and then pour it into a container or pot big enough for the chicken. Fill with water until covering chicken. Store in the fridge for 4-24 hours.

    Step 9

    Great for whole chicken, breasts, wings, thighs basically everything!
