Gather the ingredients. Let the butter come to room temperature. You can use fresh or dried lavender. Dried lavender is often labeled "culinary lavender" at spice stores. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking powder, and lavender.
In the mixer, combine the butter, honey, and sugar.
Cream until light and fluffy.
Slowly add the dry ingredients.
Mix until just combined. It will be crumbly.
Spread out on a large piece of parchment paper.
Form a log.
Roll in the parchment paper till smooth.
Place in the fridge for an hour or two to firm up
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the log into 1/2-inch slices. Place the slices on the baking sheet.
Place in preheated oven and bake 8 minutes, or until light golden brown.
Remove from oven and cool.
