How to Bake Coconut Macaroons

Supplies

  • 3 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup sweetened cond.milk
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
  • 1teaspoon cream of tartar
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Mix all ingredients together

    Step 2

    Form a thick paste

    Step 3

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet

    Step 4

    Bake in Alto-Shaam Cook & Hold at 325F (163C) for 60 min.

    Step 5

    Bake until edges are lightly browned

    Step 6

    and Serve!!
