Put the eggs and the sugar in the bowl
..till it looks like this
Add baking powder
Mix carefully! We want to keep the air
Then when you are done, take the dough in a cakeform
I hope you turned on the oven before you started? (160*c - 170*c)
When the oven is warm enough, put the cake in the oven
Now we are going to make whipped cream! Put some fresh cream in a clean bowl
Mix it, but dont overmix it! You dont want to get butter either
When the cake is ready(after 30 - 35 minutes) you let it cool down before you cut it in two like I have on this picture.
Take a little of your whipped cream over in a small bowl. Add some vanillacream in it.
Then take all vanillacream on your cake (This is the fill inside)
Add a LOT of strawberries
Now take the other half of your cake and put it on the top
Then you use the rest of your normal whipped cream and fills the outside of your cake with a thin layer
Take powdering sugar over a table
Take some marzipan and knock it til it becomes soft
Then you roll it out, quite thin, and check if it's large enough for your cake
Put the marzipan over your cake, and then smooth it all out
Then use a cutter to remove the marzipan around
It shall look like this, and now you can decorate as you would like to!
I was going to make a small "weddingcake" since my parents were celebrating beeing married for 20 years!
"Married in 20 years" in Norwegian ( I used marzipan to the letters)
I was making a rose...
And.. voila :) I didnt want to decorate too much so I kept this simple :)
