Supplies

  • 1 ¾ Cups Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • 400 Milliliters Sweet Condensed Milk
  • 1 Frozen Unbaked Deep Dish Pie Crust
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • ½ Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • ½ Teaspoons Ground Cloves
  • ½ Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ Teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
  • Instructions

    Step 1

    Gather all of your ingredients

    Step 2

Take the pie crust out of the freezer, and allow to thaw at room temperature for a minimum of 15 minutes.

    Step 3

Measure out 1 3/4 cups of pumpkin puree

    Step 4

Heat pumpkin puree and spices (cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg) over medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Stir frequently. Heating takes away the "canny" taste of the pumpkin puree.

    Step 5

Remove heated pumpkin puree mixture from heat, and pour into a bowl.

    Step 6

Measure out 400 mL of condensed milk.

    Step 7

Pour sweet condensed milk into pumpkin puree mixture.

    Step 8

Add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

    Step 9

Beat and whisk two large eggs, then add to pumpkin mixture.

    Step 10

    Whisk together ingredients.

    Step 11

    ... until well combined.

    Step 12

Pour pumpkin mixture into deep pie dish.

    Step 13

It should be filled about this much.

    Step 14

Place in oven, it should bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Decrease temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 45 minutes or until cake taster comes out clean.

    Step 15

Voila! Your pumpkin pie is done :)
