Yeah it only works on the 5th gen iPod touch

No, I have the fourth generation iPod touch, and there is not an option for Flyover. This is probably because its processors aren't capable.

Dose it work on iPod touch 4th generation iOS 6

Google powered is better, they've been doing it for years. Apple thinks they've become experts in 6 months

@Janice Wells: it should work on your iPad 2 if you have upgraded it to iOS 6. Though flyover view looks beautiful I agree with Alyson that Street view is probably a better option to find someone's place. Unless of course they have really high boundary walls and you wanna see the garden, swimming pool and stuff, then you are better off with Flyover

Sorry guys here is the list of devices on which you can view Flyover in Apple Maps: iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, New iPad (2012), iPad 2, iPod Touch (5th generation)

You can still do street view, I personally don't find flyover necessary.

So, it doesn't work on the iPad 2? I have a brother who lives in Sydney Australia. I wanted to try to find his place.

Its a good app but to be honest, I really miss Google Maps with street view - it really helped with my job. As I understand it, Google are working on an app which hopefully should be coming soon. And yes, it doesn't work for the iPhone 4 and older.

...and the iPad 3 and iPod touch 5 (when it comes out later this month).

Just to clarify, this does not work for iPhone 4. Only iPhone 4S and 5.
