To make amazing picture like this one follow this how to!!!

From the main screen click the Camara button and either a) take a pic or b) import one from your photo library( the 2 squares on top of each other)

Step 3 of 13

Pick a filter. In this pic I used "hefe" witch makes all the colors much more prominent. In you want to make it hight contrast just click on the button in the lower left-hand corner

If you want you can always add a blur by clicking the button that looks like a year drop.

Once you are done the button in the upper right-hand corner will bring u to the finishing of page were u can add a caption, send it to an email address or even post it to twitter/Facebook.

I used the touch of color app (FREE!) to give myself the pink-red lips

Instgram the app!(app store free)

There are some fantastic guides on this app, I can even abide the girly 'how to do makeup' ones if they are well written and informative but a guide on how to use an app which is pretty much self explanatory is ridiculous! Hopefully snap guide will start regulating what guides go onto the pop pages.

Agreed. I feel as if the "popular page" is pulled straight from the Tumblr accounts of 14 year old girls... You will, however, run into a rather nice page every once and a blue moon.

@nestor Nazario, I used the pic of the balloon so that ppl could see how much different filters change colors, even white(or off white...) if u want more pics check out my guide "instagram photo ideas"

I do like the first picture, but you are correct. It is nice, but not amazingly nice. And I believe that you would have shown a bit more detail using another, more complex picture for the guide, rather than a balloon on an off white background. No harm meant with that first comment by the way, just messing around.

This could be useful for people who are new to Instagram or to get people curious enough to try it. In any case, maybe you could more of a variety of pictures to your guide? :)
