This will be your finished result :) It only takes about 30 seconds to tie a tie once you get the hang of it. The first few times are going to take more than a minute though.
Firstly, put your collar up so it will be easier to place the tie around your neck.
Next, put the tie around your neck, making sure the fat end of the tie is to your right side. Also make sure the fat end is considerably longer than the skinny end.
Now that the tie is around your neck, take hold of the right side (which is also the fat side) and loop it around the front of the skinny side once. The fat side should end up on top.
Once the fat end is on top of the skinny, get the fat side and take it through the v of your neck. Take it through from the back, ensuring it ends up on top.
As you can see, the loop you formed earlier has now made a hole for the fat end of your tie to go through. Once you have pulled the fat end through you will see it's beginning to take shape.
Take the skinny end of the tie, and pull downwards to adjust. You can set the tie to the tightness you would like.
Make sure you remember to fold your collar down.
You have now successfully tied a tie. We hope it has helped you.
