How to Tie a Shoe

Step 1 of 10
Start with the shoelaces hanging down to the sides of the shoe.
Step 2 of 10
Pick up the shoelaces and make an "X" with them.
Step 3 of 10
Take one lace and put it under the opposite lace.
Step 4 of 10
Pull the laces tight.
Step 5 of 10
Create a loop with one of the shoelaces.
Step 6 of 10
Hold the loop tight
Step 7 of 10
Take the other shoelace and put it around the loop.
Step 8 of 10
Hold it carefully.
Step 9 of 10
Take the strand that has been placed around the loop and bring it through the little loop created from putting the left lace around the large loop.
Step 10 of 10
Pull the 2 loops tightly and you have tied your shoe!
