Thanks for this guide. I usually pay $12 about every 3-4 weeks for this. Will give it a try myself.

Felicia Agerstig

@chris banuelos it takes practice! Lots and lots to be really good at it. It's faster then with a tweezer but I use a tweezer if I wanna remove like one little piece of hair that's misplaced.

This is amazing I can't wait to try it! Been plucking my eyebrows for years and always wanted to try threading but it's about £20 a pop in London. Will definitely be using a hot compress to open my pores and then once I'm finished a splash of cold water to help the pain after. Will be keeping an eyebrow pencil handy incase I mess up the shaping since it will be my first time! Thanks for the great guide 😍

Sarah Elizabeth last month

Chris Banuelos

How much precision can you get with this method compared to using tweezers? And on a scale from 1-10 how difficult is this to do, I don't want to jack up my eyebrows :P

Chris Banuelos last month

Kate Heriza

I can't do it! Any tips?

Eleanor Seal

Yeah or you can get a bowl full of hot water and rest your face over the steam too. That's what I do. Kinda like a mini sauna for your face. :P

Eleanor Seal 2 months ago

кαєℓу g. ¢нα

So basically wash your face with hot water before you pluck right?

кαєℓу g. ¢нα 2 months ago

Eleanor Seal

Don't put ice on your eyebrows it'll close the pores and hang on to hairs more. Making it more painful and difficult.

Eleanor Seal 2 months ago

кαєℓу g. ¢нα

Thanks!

@kaely cha u can absolutely use it under too!

Robin Yolande

I've seen this done at the mall so many times. Glad to see how it actually works. Thank you. Not sure if I'll use so close to my eyes but my chin hair and mustache are history...lol!

Robin Yolande 3 months ago

Isabella Boyce

You can also take a shower or stand near a pot of boiling water. The hot steam opens ur pores

Isabella Boyce 3 months ago

Natasha (:

I tried this, and I don't think it hurts that much! It works great. Before this, do NOT numb the area to be plucked with a ice cube, it will tighten your skin and your pores will close. Like Maya said, use a warm washcloth!

Natasha (: 3 months ago

Dayle Cook

Had it done at the mall a couple times. It is fast. Sure beats plucking. Thanks for showing me how to do it myself.

You can also take a hot wash cloth before hand and press it around the areas you are going to thread to open the pores and make the process less painful. You can also try a numbing gel such as baby oragel and or normal oragel

Oh Snap Snap

Great guide, this is going to save many people money. When I had it done at a salon, the esthetician applied baby powder on my face. If anyone finds it hard to grab hair with the thread, that might help.

Oh Snap Snap 3 months ago

Samantha Reemtsen

You can numb the area to be threaded with a numbing gel like anbesol.

Does it hurt more than using a tweezer?

Helena Billenstein 3 months ago

Joy Begum

Basically it's like using ur hand as a talking duck.. One hand should be a closed talking duck ( all four fingers against the thumb). And the other hand an open talking duck (45' degree space between ur fingers and thumb).. Basic movement is you close one hand and open the other and as u close and shut you must move in the direction against your hair line where you want to remove hair. Get in a rhythm !

Joy Begum 3 months ago

Sherria E
