How to Temporary Mark Guest Towels
Start the Guide ›

I'm having guests staying for a few days. All my towels are identical, so I need a way to mark them for each guest.

Use any clothes-pegs you got. If you only have plastic ones use labels so that you can remove them again. If you feel crafty paint them, date them and give them to your guests as a memento.

If you use a pencil, just erase the writhing after use. Yes my eraser is silly. I use pencil a lot because it does not fade or run when wet.

Dear Cara thanks for your kind words. I did use grommets and pegs with names on when my children were young. They painted their own pegs and we used them all over the house to mark boxes, towels, napkins and with a magnet glued on the pegs so that papers and lists was easy to mark when hanging on the fridge.

I'm thinking this is great for kids as well. Especially the grommets makes it so simple for them to hang towels cloths etc.. Back themselves! So awesome Ty for another wonderful idea

Dear Tina this is a hand towel so I leave the pegs on. See step 2 in the guide.
