Make sure your Lifeproof case has been water tested and is on properly. A Lifejacket is also useful so your phone won't sink of you drop it.

Your touch screen won't work underwater. So how in the world are you supposed to take pictures? Read on to see!

Once your phone is underwater the screen is useless, even if only partially submerged.

Step 4 of 8

The volume + button becomes our best friend now! Make sure your phone is in camera mode before submerging. Then just use the volume + button to take pictures!

Sorry for the darkness, but you can see the shutter going off.

If you are not in a controlled environment I suggest using a Lifejacket so your phone won't sink to a watery grave if dropped.

It costs about $80, but it is completely worth it! I drop my phone all the time and it has no scratches or dings thanks to this case. I also don't worry about I getting wet, and even use it for music in the shower. :) I got mine at Best Buy. I think AT&T and Verizon stores also carry them. Please don't buy one offline from Amazon, etc. you want a real one, not a knock off.
