First thing to do when your husband says " I think I got the FLU" is to hide any thing that you might want to use to kill him with during the next 2-5 days.

Step 2 of 7
Make soup. You need all the strength you can get. Serve him the leftover. When he complains over the TUC biscuits are crumbled to fine, resist the temptation to pour the soup into his bed. Hard one.

Mette ξŒƒ

ok, this is loong over due, but about the cloves and the porcelaindough it worked out great, the only thing was that it left the dough a bit brown-ish around the edges where I inserted the cloves. If painted afterwards, or sprayed it wouldent show I guess. still finding new uses for the dough from time to time...kidies loves it too:) Loved our guide about boller i Karry ...yum, any tips on how to make Curry without stinking up the whole house for days?...lol

Dear Mette. You are so right, my husband master the skill of suffering in silence so loud that everybody knows, my mother is the champion on a whole other level at the art of suffering in silence for everybody to hear. I know I do it as well, try to stop myself, but now and again I play the misunderstood pain ridden silent sufferer with great ease. 😞 I'm glad you like my guides. If there is any thing you would like to see a guide on regarding Danish cooking just ask. Glædelig jul.

Oh the dreaded manflu!! I too think they secretly take dramalessons behind our backs. The drama of how we cant possibly relate to their suffering...that and what I have witnessed as a nurse in the ear, nose and throat department... Oh dear dont get me started on mens reactions to taking a painkiller as a suppository after have their toncils removed!!! Laborpains really do fade in comparrison by far!! Not the pain in their throat... The agony of imagining how a suppository work and where its "applied"... Ah MEN...step 1 is very essential, if not done right away, all further attempts to complete the other steps are useless! Loved your guide...all your guides are great though, as a dane living abroad I truly enjoy them!

Manflu is tragic. Man-owie's are a blight. Men need compassion and a yummy manwich, preferably eaten in his man cave.

Dear Johnney now I have tried both shoulder and back pain and I'll take back pain any time. Never in my life have I had so much pain as when I broke my shoulder. But you are right our suffering is nothing compared to the suffering of men.

Dear Laila what I forgot to mention in my guide is to admirer your husband when he is on the mend, how heroic he looks when he moaning shuffles to the bathroom slightly bend forward, holding his hands on his lower back. That is when I just love my husband so pathetic and so adorable at the same time

(author) 8 months ago

Karen Larard

Dear Patricia I'm not sure what confused you. The soup will give you strength to endure your husbands fight with dead. The TUC biscuits are salty crumbling goodies to eat with cheese or on soup. That your husband didn't find it amazing i quit understand men take manflu seriously and the rest of the world just don't get it.
